This is because Densi Proof plus Surface Sheen holds in the hydrates and allows more cement to ultimately be used. What this means is you don't have to wait 28 or even 45 days or more to protect your concrete. It can be protected immediately. Unlike typical surface sealers, Densi Proof plus Surface Sheen penetrates deep (up to 200 mm) into the concrete to form a permanent, gel-like moisture barrier / waterproofer which can never be worn away. It also forms an attractive shiny sealer across the surface providing years of protection against the elements.
